BARNYARD KITCHEN

This was actually one of my earliest works. It was for a relative of mine where she wanted it to have a pastel green color. I wanted it to feel very home-y despite it being narrow. I recommended to have a farm or barnyard theme since I was inspired with how airy and home-y the interiors for farm houses were. I made use of mint green or pastel green since it's very cooling for the eyes. The location of their home was deep inside of a compound and was a bit humid with not so good air circulation. Also, I went back to the basics by using whites too for making the rooms feel spacious. With less furniture around, there is a good traffic space for people to go around. 

 

The kitchen is where you can really see the theme shine. Still using the mint green palette, I mixed it with white bricks backsplash. The cabinets are actually existing in the home and I recommended to just repaint and refurbish it as to save and add more budget to other elements needed for the house. The barnyard sink is a nice added touch for their kitchen.
